You Can Help!
There are many opportunities for you to help us accomplish our Mission. Here are some of the ways.
Become a Volunteer
We would love you to share your talents with us. Would you like to help in the office or the reuse store? Do you like organizing and working special events? Are you a teacher? Can you or your group help sort, stock and organize the store for 2-3 hours? We always have a ton (literally!) of stuff that needs to be organized and plenty of active or seated work opportunities. Email our Volunteer Coordinator for information.
Donate Money
Cash contributions are an important way to help us continue to fulfill our mission. Every donation is important! The Art Village is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and you can receive tax benefits through your donation. Some of the ways you can contribute include:

- Endowment Gifts

Take A Class
Come to play, learn or create with us. Whether you are a beginner or have been making art or crafting for years, we know you’ll find many stimulating classes to choose from. Don’t see what you are looking for? Call us and we’ll see if we can find an instructor to teach it.
Shop & Discover Treasure
Shop our reuse store for a wide variety of materials that can be used in arts and crafts, science, and other learning projects. We have fabric, thread, buttons, trims, feathers, beads, rope and twine, old jewelry, leather, cardboard tubes, a huge variety of shapes and colors of plastic items, small wood pieces, metal tins, baskets, beautiful papers, note cards, maps, patterns, boxes, bags, Styrofoam, matboard, picture frames, and so much more that we can’t possibly list it all here. Items come and go quickly and you never know what you will find!
Donate Stuff
Our teachers always have wish lists... you have stuff you’d like to get rid of. Cleaning out your closets and don’t want to have another yard sale? Not sure what to do with Aunt Matilda’s leftover estate items? Don’t know if we can use it? Give us a call and let us know what you have... you’d be surprised at what we can reuse. You know the old adage! “One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure.” To see a partial list of items that we accept, click here.

Join our Facebook page, sign up for our e-newsletter (and share it with a friend) or just tell someone about the great things we are doing and the stuff we’re keeping out of the landfill. And rest assured, we will never sell, rent or give your name or email address to anyone.
